Espone per la prima volta in Italia R.C. Horsch, uno dei più controversi e censurati artisti contemporanei di erotismo. La mostra "Body and Mind - The aesthetic genius of R.C. Horsch", offre l'occasione di conoscere, attraverso cinquantadue fotografie digitali, il complesso, poetico e sfrontato universo del sesso, secondo l'occhio "viscerale" di questo artista americano.

Fotografo, regista, compositore, porno-performer, pilota di volo acrobatico, disertore e agitatore politico, dottore in chimica, fisica e ingegneria elettronica, Horsch, nato nel 1939 in Pennsylvania, ha vissuto una vita tanto varia ed eccessiva quanto la sua stessa arte può rivelare.

Dai film porno ai documentari sulle femministe di ultima generazione, la sua carriera artistica ha attraversato essenzialmente due cicli espositivi, negli anni '70 e negli anni '90. Negli ultimi dieci anni si è dedicato quasi esclusivamente all'esplorazione del lato oscuro dell'erotismo nel campo della fotografia digitale e del video, riscuotendo un grande successo di pubblico (oltre 12.000 visitatori per l'ultima sua monumentale mostra -197 foto esposte - "Eroto to the Prurient Interest", presentata nel 2003 a Las Vegas e a Los Angeles).

La scena decadente newyorkese e le esperienze personali costituiscono per la ricerca di Horsch un'inesauribile risorsa e fonte d'ispirazione. Le pose e gli atteggiamenti proposti dalla cultura porno americana vengono liberati dai soliti cliché, grazie ad una cruda ricerca, soprattutto di natura psicologica, che guida l'artista nel mettere in scena ossessioni e perversioni sessuali con spiazzante franchezza e rigorosa cura estetica. "Vedere tutto e fino in fondo, senza riserve, secondo le infinite fantasie della mente e del corpo": sembra proprio questo l'invito di Horsch allo spettatore curioso.

Molte delle sue modelle sfuggono agli stereotipi di bellezza femminile imposti dallo star system e dalla propaganda mediatica. Ciò che interessa all'artista è catturare l'essenza della donna erotica che ha davanti: l'obiettivo ne ritrae lo sguardo, a volte aggressivo o spaventato, le fattezze grottesche e caricaturali, il look volgare o fetish. Con "Body and Mind" siamo di fronte ad una fantastica carrellata - in versione sexy - dell'utopico modello sociale americano, che celebra le infinite possibilità esistenziali ed espressive dell'essere umano indipendentemente dalla razza e dal colore.

Oggetto: "terroristi".... iracheni

La CIA dietro gli attentati ai civili e ai lavoratori

L'Unione del Popolo Iracheno, organizzazione che proclama la sua opposizione all'occupazione militare statunitense, ha accusato la CIA degli Stati Uniti di essere dietro gli attentati in Iraq.

Così ha affermato oggi, in una conferenza stampa nella città spagnola di Cordoba, il portavoce dell'Unione del Popolo Iracheno, Jousif Hamdan, che ha assicurato che la resistenza irachena all'occupazione, alla quale i comunisti prestano appoggio e collaborazione, "viene diffamata" dagli Stati Uniti associandola agli attentati indiscriminati mentre, in realtà, "quando vi sono morti civili, ciò si deve all'azione della CIA".
Hamdan, che sta realizzando un giro attraverso l'Andalusia, con lo scopo di far conoscere la versione dei comunisti iracheni sul conflitto in cui è immerso il suo paese, ha spiegato che la CIA è la responsabile dell'organizzazione e delle azioni eseguite da "gruppi di banditi, per diffamare in questo modo la resistenza irachena e giustificare l'occupazione", attraverso attentati terroristici indiscriminati, dai quali dissociò la sua organizzazione asserendo che "vi sono atti che noi non giustifichiamo".

D'altra parte, Hamdan ha affermato che l'autonominato Partito Comunista Iracheno, inserito nell'attuale Governo del paese, "cui arrivò grazie all'occupazione, con la quale collabora fornendo informazioni alla CIA circa l'ubicazione dei nuclei della resistenza, non rappresenta il movimento comunista dell'Iraq".

Il portavoce dell'Unione del Popolo Iracheno ha inoltre chiarito che la resistenza non è composta da stranieri d'area islamista, bensì è integrata "per un 99% da iracheni, e non è sunnita, come vogliono far credere gli statunitensi", essendo in buona parte militari (350.000) del precedente esercito dell'Iraq coloro che la compongono, insieme a musulmani e nazionalisti iracheni (del partito Baath), oltre a comunisti, così formando quello che Hamdan ha denominato il "Fronte Musulmano e Democratico dell'Iraq", che cerca "la sua liberazione".

C’è un omicidio a sfondo omosessuale dietro la "Notte dei cristalli", il più violento pogrom antiebraico scatenato nella Germania nazista prima dello scoppio della Seconda guerra mondiale. L’inquietante verità spunta fuori, dopo 65 anni dagli archivi di Stato di Berlino. Fu un crimine perpetrato da un giovane ebreo ai danni del segretario dell’ambasciatore tedesco in Francia, a fare da detonatore ai progrom che ebbero luogo in Germania nella notte tra il 9 e il 10 novembre del ’38. Ma finora si era sempre pensato che quel ragazzo di 17 anni, Herschel Grynszpan, avesse in mente di uccidere l’ambasciatore stesso, Johannes Graf Welczeck. Una vendetta personale, si diceva, per la deportazione dei suoi genitori in Polonia. Invece, come ha rivelato lo storico tedesco Hans-Jürgen Döscher era proprio al suo segretario, Ernest von Rath, che si mirava. Un rapporto indirizzato al ministero degli Affari esteri tedesco spuntato recentemente, dimostra infatti che vittima e carnefice si conoscevano perfettamente. Altri documenti inoltre dimostrano che entrambi frequentavano gli ambienti omosessuali parigini. Ma la verità su quella terribile notte l’aveva già rivelata André Gide nel ’38, quando dichiarò: "Sapemmo da fonti certe che il segretario dell’ambasciata von Rath, che è appena stato ucciso, aveva relazioni molto intime con il suo piccolo assassino ebreo"..

La vita SESSUALE del FUHRER rimase avvolta nel mistero anche per i suoi amici intimi, nel senso che neppure loro sapevano se esistesse. Certamente Hitler aveva avuto delle amiche e in genere si dimostrava affettuoso con le donne, purché non rnostrasserro ambizioni intellettuali, ma in modo piuttosto cavalieresco, passivo. Nelle conversazioni, ostentava una triviale propensione ad approvare tutti i legami sessuali indiscriminatamente, ma soprattutto in riferimento alla necessità di perpetuare e moltiplicare la razza; tuttavia, personalmente, non manifestò mai il desiderio di avere figli propri né di sposarsi. Forse riteneva che il matrimonio potesse declassarlo dal ruolo di uomo del destino. Poiché Hitler considerava le normali relazioni fra gli uomini alla stregua di 'debolezze', molti hanno pensato che egli stesso fosse impotente o malato. In effetti, sono tutte teorie sostenibili, ma la sua storia affettiva ce lo presenta comunque come un megalomane per il quale l'amore ed il sesso rivestivano minore importanza che per la maggior parte degli uomini.

(free for the attendants of the concert at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig)

Another limited edition CDr is added to the Ain Soph discography. Like the previous "Cuore Nero / Morte E Disonore", this exclusive piece was given away for free during a concert, this time at the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig. Chronicles report that one of the band's members directly threw some copies among the audience, causing disorder and mayhem.

"GPIIBXVI" features one long unreleased instrumental track, that surprisingly goes back to the original industrial roots of the Roman pioneers, at the time when they were releasing their famous experimental and ritual masterpieces. The music is a sort of sacral dark ambient, with deep gloomy drones, noise slashes and obsessive tolling bells.

There are no titles on the CDr, but limited info given by the artists themselves claims that this is a development of their "Theme II", and was recorded during the days of transition between two popes, Giovanni Paolo II and Benedetto XVI, whose initials are reported on the label, alongside the Vatican seal. Of course, the intent was definitely not to wish Cardinal Ratzinger a long and prosperous reign...

Since Ain Soph recently split up, this "GPIIBXVI" is to be considered their very last release, which makes it particularly special, both because it was given away during their last concert ever, and because it returns to their musical origins, ideally closing the circle.

This time no hints are given neither about how many copies were printed, nor if it is already sold out. Do you desperately want a copy? Hassle Misty Circles, there might be one left, lying somewhere under a table.

This limited edition sampler was meant to be given away as an entry gift for the attendants of the "Memento Avdere Semper", the acoustic night with Der Blutharsch, Ain Soph and Varunna scheduled for last March at the Vittoriale in Italy. As you may remember, the concerts were cancelled at the last moment by the venue's owners, and the event took place somewhere else. Apart from the few brave ones who reached the place and had their copy, it is now possible for everyone else to get your hands on this CD for free if you make an order from the Hau Ruck! SPQR mail order.

What we have here is a selection of songs from the Italian neofolk and industrial scene, covering both the old and the new generation. To open is VARUNNA, one of the latest additions to the Hau Ruck! catalogue. Their "A Sa Brigada" is a gloomy and epic ballad, spawning a militaristic and dramatic feeling. Second track is "No Kisses On The Mouth" by Spiritual Front, a completely acoustic version of the famous single. Simone Salvatori and his band's class are unquestioned, and this song shows once again a talent waiting get the recognition it deserves.

Another young promise is represented by THE GREEN MAN, whose "Summerisle" comes closer to ancient World Serpent atmospheres, with a more ritual and narrative approach. Even if their contribution doesn't show any outstanding innovation, their personality sticks easily out of the crowd and, last but not least, their English sounds very good. FORESTA DI FERRO's "Progresso" is the first industrial moment to appear on the CD, taking the listener into their well-known magma of disturbing noise strata and distant voice samples, close to the first part of their debut work "Bury Me Standing".

Another odd experimental piece is MUSHROOM'S PATIENCE's "The Pain Of Young Johnny Cash", a demented sketch featuring xylophones, drunk trumpets, howling voices and crazy rhythms. If you like The Residents, you will definitely love it! Great godfathers AIN SOPH deliver a live recording of "Ragazzo Di Strada", cover version of a classic from the Italian beat era by I Corvi. Their interpretation adds the notorious gloomy organ sound and the well-known drunk attitude.

To close the CD is JOHNNY B., Inner Glory's lead singer, with a solo track titled "The Grave Of Love". It's an enjoyable and poppy tune, quite different from what we are used to expect from the neofolk area: its combination of acoustic guitar, piano, electronic keyboards and drum machine gives it a special feeling and a good amount of originality. Nostalgic of 80s' new wave and of Suicide will sure appreciate it.

"Memento Avdere Semper" is a nice view on this particular niche of the Italian underground, featuring some exclusive tracks by great historical artists and younger ones who are going to make speak a lot about themselves. A nice final remark: the CD's surface is printed to make it look like a vinyl 7" single!

Ecco perchè siamo al sicuro....

Bin Laden ha dichiarato: "E' molto difficile fare un attentato in Italia".

In realtà alcuni documenti del SISDE rivelati recentemente affermano che Bin Laden ci ha provato; tempo fa diede ordine di organizzare un attentato aereo in Italia. Due terroristi, provenienti da un Paese del Medio Oriente, arrivarono a Napoli con la ferma determinazione di eseguire "il castigo di Allah per gli infedeli italiani".

Ecco la storia e l'itinerario dei due terroristi una volta giunti nel nostro Paese.

Arrivano all'aeroporto internazionale di Napoli, via aerea dalla
Turchia: escono dall'aeroporto dopo otto ore perché gli hanno perso le valigie.

La società di gestione dell'aeroporto non si assume la responsabilità della perdita e un impiegato consiglia ai terroristi di provare a ripassare il giorno dopo: chissà, con un po' di fortuna...

Prendono un taxi: il taxista (abusivo) li guarda dallo specchietto
retrovisore e, vedendo che sono stranieri, li passeggia per tutta la
città per un'ora e mezza. Dal momento che non proferiscono lamentela, neanche dopo che il tassametro raggiunge i 200 euro, decide di fare il colpo gobbo: arrivato alla rotonda di Villaricca, si ferma e fa salire un complice. Dopo averli derubati dei soldi e coperti di mazzate, li abbandonano esanimi nel Rione 167.

Al risveglio, dopo la mazzata, entrambi i terroristi riescono a raggiungere un albergo sito in zona piazza Borsa. Decidono quindi di affittare un'auto presso la Hertz di piazza Municipio. Quindi si avviano con direzione aeroporto, ma giusto prima di arrivare a piazza Mazzini, rimangono bloccati da una manifestazione di studenti, uniti alle tute bianche anti-global ed ai disoccupati napoletani, che non li fanno passare.

Arrivano a piazza Garibaldi(finalmente!). Decidono di cambiare dei soldi per muoversi più liberamente: i loro dollari vengono cambiati in biglietti da 100 euro falsi!!!

Arrivano all'aeroporto di Capodichino con la ferma intenzione di dirottare un aereo per farlo cadere sulle torri dell'Enel del centro direzionale. I piloti ALITALIA sono in sciopero perché chiedono la quadruplicazione del salario e vogliono lavorare meno ore. Stessa cosa per i controllori di volo, che pretendono anche la pinza obliteratrice per tutti (altrimenti "che controllori saremmo", hanno dichiarato!).

L'unico aereo disponibile che c'è in pista è uno della MARADONA AIR con destinazione Sassari e ha 18 ore di ritardo... gli impiegati ed i passeggeri sono accampati nelle sale d'attesa... intonano canti popolari... gridano slogan contro Il governo ed i piloti! Arrivano i celerini... cominciano a dare manganellate a destra e a manca, contro tutti... si accaniscono in particolar modo sui due arabi.

Finalmente si calmano un poco gli animi. I due figli di Allah, coperti di sangue, si avvicinano al banco della MARADONA AIR per acquistare i biglietti per l'aereo con destinazione Sassari, dirottarlo e farlo schiantare contro le torri Enel. Il responsabile MARADONA AIR che gli vende dei biglietti, tace il fatto che il volo, in realtà, e già stato cancellato.

Morti di fame, decidono di mangiare qualcosa al ristorante dell'aeroporto... ordinano panino con la frittata e impepata di cozze.

In preda a una Salmonellosi fulminante causata dalla frittata, finiscono all'ospedale San Gennaro, dopo aver aspettato tutta la notte nel corridoio del pronto soccorso. La cosa non sarebbe durata più di un paio di giorni, se non fosse subentrato un sospetto di colera dovuto alle cozze.

Dopo dodici giorni escono dall'ospedale e si trovano nelle vicinanze dello stadio San Paolo. Il Napoli ha perso in casa con il neopromosso Vinchiaturo per 3-0, con due rigori assegnati alla squadra Molisana dall'arbitro Concettino Riina da Corleone. Una banda di ultra della "MASSERIA CARDONE", vedendo i due arabi scuri di carnagione, li scambiano per tifosi avversari e gli rifilano un'altra caterva di legnate. Per di più il capo degli ultra, un tale detto "Peppo o Ricchione", abusa sessualmente di loro.

Finalmente, ...gli ultra se ne vanno. I due terroristi decidono di ubriacarsi per la prima volta nella loro vita, anche se e peccato!

In una bettola della zona portuale gli rifilano del vino adulterato con metanolo e i due rientrano al San Gennaro per l'intossicazione.

Gli viene anche riscontrata la sieropositività all'HIV (Peppo non perdona).

I due terroristi fuggono dall'Italia in zattera con direzione Libia cagando fuoco per tutto il percorso, semiorbi per il metanolo ingerito e con una dozzina di infezioni a causa del virus HIV e giurando ad Allah che non tenteranno mai più nulla contro il nostro amato Paese...

Mushroom's Patience new full-length CD sees the light in form of an elegant digipack, decorated as usual by Raffaele's expressionistic and visionary paintings. "Water" is the title for this final chapter of the elemental trilogy, started back in 2001 with "Roma, Wien" (representing earth) and continued in 2002 with "The Spirit Of The Mountain / From The Mountain" (representing air), and stands, quite obviously, for water itself.

Raffaele worked side-by-side with Jürgen Weber and the active participation of Frl. Tost, ClauDEDI and DBPIT. The whole Mushroom Family gave birth to what is probably, at a first listening, the most organic and accessible piece of the discography till now, even if as crazy and intricated as its predecessors. The general atmosphere calls to mind the seaside, but not tropical beaches or chaotic boulevards, more likely the canals of Venice (much more actually than it did Novy Svet's "Venezia"), better if contemplated at sunset.

Jürgen's hoarse and drunk voice sings and talks among the beautiful and refined music, at a time jazzy, folk ballad-like, or more ambient. Sounds of sea waves, rain and storm are sampled and placed here and there, while whispering metal clangs and pipe bells (reminding of Death In June) tune obsessively. DBPIT's suffering trumpet sneaks out, adding a melancholic sensation to the whole. The first half of "Water" is made of very catchy, relaxing and enjoyable songs, while the second half is more experimental and difficult, with large use of electronics, noise, loops and strange sounds.

There are no titles for the tracks, so it's not easy to speak of one rather than another. However, track 3 (a drunk ballad written by desperate men contemplating suicide), 8 (an alien collage of loops and effects) and 10 (a dreamy masterpiece for accordion and trumpet, later degenerating into a mass of buzzing noise) stand out of the whole. The entire CD, anyway, is set on very high standards, and not a single track sounds weak. Mushroom's Patience is so unique and particular, that it's almost impossible to find comparisons, and this time the only names I could think of are Popol Vuh, The Residents, and even Franco Battiato's early electronic works (in particular his legendary debut "Fetus", evoked in the last track, number 13).

"Water" requires several attentive listenings to be enjoyed and appreciated in depth. If you're going to use it as background muzak while washing dishes, you won't catch a single grain of its essence. Headphones are suggested to discover and dive into the complex and labyrinthic sound assemblage of Mushroom's Patience music. Without rhetoric, this is a masterpiece.

The largely anticipated collaboration between Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio and Spiritual Front is finally out. Tomas Petersson's cold and ritual magick folk meets Italy's most famous nihilist folk 'n' roll chanteur, on an ideal alliance uniting Northern and Southern Europe. "Satyriasis - Somewhere Between Equilibrium And Nihilism" features three unreleased songs by each artist, plus two crossed collaborations.

First track is "Your Sex Is The Scar", credited as Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio featuring Spiritual Front. The music shows the Swedishs' martial and epic trademark, combined with sexual lyrics and Simone Salvatori singing alongside Tomas. To follow is Spiritual Front with "Song Of The Old Man", probably the best they have composed till now. It's a fantastic ballad about the funeral of, supposedly, a mafia thug, with great rhythm and Simone's voice finally showing all its potential. ORE come immediately after with "Hell Is Where The Heart Is - The Gospel Of Tomas", a very beautiful song in the vein of "Conquest, Love & Self Perseverance", slow and intimate, with excellent lyrics.

Spiritual Front deliver other two killer wasted hymns, "Autopsy Of A Love" and "Border", sweet and violent songs of lust and desperation, while Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio offer the outstanding and ethereal "Three Is An Orgy And Four Is Forever", among the very best of their career, and "Dreaming Of My Scarlet Woman", another powerful and epic piece of music. The only slightly disappointing track is final "The Pleasure Of Pain", credited to Spiritual Front featuring Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio, which is a more experimental but quite repetitive moment, revolving around a violin tune, cats fight noises and voice samples.

On the whole, "Satyriasis - Somewhere Between Equilibrium And Nihilism" is an excellent collaboration, where the two bands work perfectly shoulder to shoulder, giving their very best. Followers of Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio and Spiritual Front obviously can't miss it, and those who haven't tasted their sensual and lustful tunes yet get now the best chance possible to try both. As a final note, it's interesting to consider that another great Italian band has been released by Cold Meat Industry... is the next Spiritual Front full-length going to sport a CMI catalogue number too? We shall see...
